Is this just oil massage with a different name?+
No, genuinely different. Oil massage stays consistent throughout, while this combines skin rolling, acupressure and light stretching alongside the oil work.
Does the skin rolling hurt?+
Not painful, just unfamiliar at first. It feels strange for a minute, then most people settle into it fine.
Can I get lighter pressure throughout?+
Yes, though skin rolling and acupressure need some real pressure behind them to actually work. Tell the therapist what feels comfortable.
How is this different from Thai massage?+
Thai is built around extensive stretching, and the dry version has no oil at all. Balinese massage leans more on oil, skin rolling and acupressure, with just a bit of stretching mixed in.
What oil scent do you use?+
Frangipani traditionally, sometimes jasmine or ylang ylang. Mention your preference when booking.
Is this at every branch?+
Not yet, it is still newer for us. Check with your nearest outlet before planning around it because not every branch has a therapist trained in the full technique yet.
